Logos and Brand Identity:

Either on paper or on the web, there is nothing as important as branding and logo design, since this represents the whole of your organization.

A logo should be applied uniformly across an organization, utilizing a strict set of rules but allowing certain deviations so that the logo can remain seen under all conditions. If the logo is predominantly black with a splash of color, if the logo is to be used on a dark surface, the splash should remain the same but the black can be inverted to white and remain noticeable. A good logo is always easy to recognize, while making a professional impression.
